Every modern artist invents his technique, his manner of painting. The painting consists of two main stages:

This is a world, a kind of astral or spiritual background. In creating the background it is involved only the soul, its subconscious side; it is repelled from the material and never knows in advance what will be. This unconscious stage of creativity ends up with creation of the magnificent, colorful landscape, which will serve as blanks for the next stage.

2) Then, on an abstract background it is applied an image of an object, any drawing that previously matured in the mind of the artist. We have the subject in the abstract, realistic form in an abstract embodiment.

The second stage can be supplemented by the third one:

3) The artist takes a brush and by conventional means of painting appends the resulting image of the object. It can completely destroy the traces of an abstract landscape, just as a draftsman, having drawn the product, erases all the lines of construction.

Contemporary abstract painting – is a process, and it all depends on what stage an artist has stopped. Contemporary abstract art is not in statement, but in the destruction of basic forms of beauty, noticed by the human eye in nature, the structure of our body, flowers, plants, and simple snowflakes. Contemporary abstract art is engaged in a deliberate affront of the natural sense of beauty through the rough asymmetry, cardiac arrhythmias, the anarchy of forms, turning inside out the laws of architectonics, the establishment of formal paradoxes where, for example, heavy rests on light or emphasizes the break right where the eye expects a certain finality, and instead the sense of form, it is created a deliberate ambiguity.

For all of these features a contemporary abstract art is the exact opposite of the abstraction, which was a great discovery of the ancient potter who created the jar of regular shape and surrounded this form by simple patterns of the traces of ropes, pressed into fresh clay. If a contemporary abstract art is drawn sometimes to the correct forms, these forms should be so correct to kill every breath of life, to cause a sensation of meaninglessness and emptiness.
