Halloween Craft Ideas

During Halloween there are a number of possible ideas for craft projects that can be done. All that you need to make this can be made out of simple materials such as paper, some egg cartons and several paper plates. Children have fun working with them. The best part of all is that they can be used as decorations in the classroom and in the house. Here are several different Halloween crafts taht will not be too expensive for you.

Spider webs. You can decorate your windows with these spider webs. They look great when the sunlight or indoor lighting catches on them and look really great. To make these, you should start with a large sheet of really thing white colored paper. Sketch an outline of a spider web on it with a pencil. Make sure you curve out the lines so that it’s nice to look at. Trace some white glue over those lines and add some glitter. The glue should be practically invisible when it dries up and it’ll only leave the glitter visible. You can then hang this on a window or some corner. It can even look great with hanging on a doorway.

Egg Carton Bats. Some really gerat craft ideas emerge during Halloween and all you need are some egg cartons. Bats made out of these are very easy to make and they are very nice to look at when you put several of them together. To do this, you should use three cups together in a row. Cut out the ends to make some wings. Color it black and then draw in some eyes. Hang these on the ceiling or on your doorway. If you put some of them together, you can have a very good decoration.

Halloween Masks. making use of some paper plates, you can create some great craft projects for Halloween. You can’t have Halloween without pumpkins. And with some paper plates, you can create some paper masks. sketch out the shape of this pumpkin on the plate and use a pair of scissors to cut it out. Color it a bright orange to produce a Jack o Lantern effect and then cut out the nose eyes and mouth. Stick on some string so that you can use it as a mask.

Paper plates can be used to create a variety of animal masks. Just add ears, color it black and orange and you’d have a tiger. A pair of long ears with grey and white paint produces a rabbit mask. Just use your creativity when it comes to paper plates so you will end up with different animals.

When making your Halloween craft projects, make sure that you keep things simple. With simple stuff, children can easily succeed and they’ll be very happy and you will also have great decorations. There’s no need to spend a lot for crafts when you can use several simple household things. Use your imagination and you can achieve almost anything.
