Made on a shoestring, although sharp and well recognized; brilliant cast contains a number of real life musicians. Cast includes Ally Sheedy, Rosanna Arquette, John Taylor, Jade Gordon, Michael Des Barres, Lucinda Jenney, and Martin Kemp. (92 minutes,’99)

Bullitt – Classic McQueen antihero role that he grows to love. As a policeman trying to keep his witness alive. McQueen sees a lot of mayhem as the mob is out to execute the man he must defend. Cast includes Steve McQueen, Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset, Don Gordon, and Robert Duvall. (113 minutes,’68)

Live Flesh – Smitten child of a prostitute is jailed for unintentionally shooting and paralyzing a cop. Original story of teenager’s error that takes him to prison. Spanish language. Cinematically stimulating, albeit, with a bravura finale. Cast includes Pedro Almodovar, Liberto Rabal, Francesca Neri, Javier Bardem, Angela Molina, Jose Sancho, and Penelope Cruz. (100 minutes,’97)
