Defenders of contemporary abstract art often refer to the fact that the use of geometric forms have been known for a long time and does not contain anything strange. The abstract patterns that we without any preliminary thoughts observe in the geometric forms of carpet or arches are the real elements of objective and absolute truth.

In this truth there are a lot of particular sides and faces, which seeks to understand the fine art that conveys life in the forms of life that is again specifically, organically, vital. But there is a broader, more abstract layer.

It is reflected in such arts as music and architecture, as well as in general formal reasons of the fine arts, what are the symmetry, rhythm, architectonics, uniformity, hidden in the most complex and random formations. Modern abstraction cannot be regarded as a decorative style or kind of music. Such comparisons are absolutely false. They indicate, at least, a lack of understanding of the main features of this art, because the modern abstraction in contrast to the old “classic” is not trying to express the beauty of elementary forms of nature, harmonious order of their movement, but something exactly opposite to them – an absurdity and chaos as the supreme mystery of life.
